Well as a driver and a oo for Crete and having to pay for things to be fixed I’ve never had any issues with the shops I did have a rear differential put in at velocity truck picked up and less than a thousand miles I had to put in the shop at Lenoir because the other shop didn’t replace a hose and all the seals and gaskets were leaking plus a brake chamber replaced by loves had to be replaced in lenoir as I had them do a dot inspection on my truck and they had to replace the chamber cause it wasn’t the right size and loves or velocity wouldn’t give me back the money I paid the company shop to fix there screw ups so all my work and service is done at Crete shops unless it’s a warranty issue then off to Freightliner

New driver here, opti idle is terrible. I just want AC all night , espar is fine . I had to get a plug in AC unit and now my truck idles all night anyways

Random trucks are parking at our Tulsa lot at night. I saw it twice two weeks ago. I talked to one guy that told me people at the flying J were telling them to park there. Something needs to be done

I stayed at a company I hated before I came to Crete because I wanted to show them a good job history

What makes driver eligible for profit sharing. I have not seen any profit sharing and been here over 2 years? I drive approx 34,000 miles every quarter.

The time needed for a driver to leave one carrier and go to another, go thru their orientation and get into a drivable truck can easily exceed 2+ weeks of not getting paid. The cost per mile increase over the next year+ would have to exceed money lost in that carrier transition period. And in that time if it's found that the new carrier isn't up to par with how they advertised themselves earlier, moving to someone else just ends up costing more time and money, which in most cases defeats the point.

How can I drive or apply to be a driver on Crete

PLEASE UPDATE SHOP HOURS ON THE CRETE APP/TERMINAL INFO. WILMER NEEDS TO UPDATE DRIVERS ON PARKING. TODAY WAS CHAOTIC. WAY TO FUEL PUMPS NEARLY BLOCKED BY TRK/TRL. NO SIGNAGE! HAD TO CALL SHOP TO ASK WHERE TO DROP LOADED TRL. LAST COMMUNICATION WAS NOT ON NEW LOT. TODAY SHOP SAYS ITS OK. ALSO, GATES OFTEN LEFT OPEN.

I've never been a job hopper in this industry, it's kinda taboo,, carriers want people that stay

Not to mention companies that promise you things and then once you get there and find out they just misled you then what do you stay and go broke or do you try to find something so you don’t go broke if more companies were upfront and honest with drivers this kinda thing won’t be happening
